"If you speak gently to her & feed her, you will enter the Garden if you avoid major wrong actions.'

The Prophet (pbuh) here gave us to practical things with regards to our mothers:
1) Speak gentle words: we can even say nice things such as we love her, or she looks nice today, or thank you for the many things she has done for us.
2) Feed her: here we can offer to cook for her, or take her out for a meal.
