Hadith

Narated By 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud : The Prophet said,

"Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others."

Maulidur Rasul - 12 Rabi'ulawal

'Maulidur Rasul' ialah Kelahiran Rasulullah SAW.

Petikan Khutbah Jumaat 09hb Rabiulawal 1430H, 06-Mar-2009:

MAULIDUR RASUL

Wahai kaum Muslimin yang dirahmati Allah,

MARILAH kita meningkatkan ketakwaan kita kepada Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala dengan penuh keyakinan dan keikhlasan dengan melakukan segala suruhan-Nya dan meninggalkan segala larangan-Nya. Mudah-mudahan kita menjadi insan yang bertakwa dan beriman serta selamat di dunia dan selamat di akhirat.

Muslimin yang dirahmati Allah,

Kita sedang berada di bulan Rabiulawal, bulan yang mencatatkan peristiwa penting dalam sejarah Islam. Dimana apabila tibanya 12 Rabiulawal setiap tahun, umat Islam di seluruh dunia akan sama-sama mengingati tarikh keputeraan junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Keputeraan junjungan besar Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam yang diutus sebagai Rasul akhir zaman telah membawa sinar kebahagiaan kepada manusia dan rahmat kepada seluruh alam.

Rabi'ulAwal:

Is the third month of the Islamic calendar

The Meaning of the Word "Rabi-ul-Awwal": The first month of spring.

Auspicious Occasions:-

The Holy Prophet SAW was born in this month as mercy for all and departed from this world 63 years later


Events of Rabi-ul-Awwal

* The Holy Prophet SAW migrated from Makkah to Madinah Munawwarah.

* Battle of Buwaat took place in the year 2 A.H.

*Battle of Saf'vaan took place in the year 2 A.H.

*Abu Bakr's(R. A.) daughter, Asma (R.A.) was born 6 years before Prophecy.

* Ruqayyah (R. A.) the daughter of the beloved Prophet SAW was born 7 years before Prophecy.

*Abu Bakr (RA.) was appointed Caliph.

Matrimonies within Rabi-Ul-Awwal:-

Hadhrat Umme Kulthum was married in this month to the third Caliph; Uthman (R.A.) in 3 A.H.

Deaths in Rabi-Ul-Awwal:-

Mother of the believers, wife of the Holy Prophet SAW Zainab (RA.) passed away in the year 4 A.H.

Ibrahim (RA.) the son of Maaria Qibtiya & of the Holy Prophet SAW passed away in the year 1O A.H.

Doa apabila dalam keadaan tertekan (stress)

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ

"Wahai Allah Yang Hidup (Sentiasa Kekal), Wahai Allah Yang Bangun (Mentadbir urusan hambaNya) Aku mohon dariMu bantuan"

A beautiful saying

One of our Muslim ancestors said:

"How sweet Eman is when it's beautified with Knowledge.
And how sweet Knowledge is when it's beautified with Implementation.
And how sweet Implementation is when it's beautified with Kindness.

The greatest pair of things is Implementation coupled with Kindness."
