Insya Allah, there will be Umrah trip in the upcoming Easter holidays. The trip will be lead by the religious officer from the UPP (Ustaz). The brief details will be as follows:

Departure: 4th April 2011
Return: 13th April 2011

Registration
Price: About 600 pounds (inc. flight and accommodation)

You hear that? Lets make that clear - 600 POUNDS! MashaAllah =D Anyway, personally I would say that this is recommended but not saying you MUST, instead if you have the time, you have the money and your parents agree with it, insha Allah then why not? 

It's rare you get this chance. 

Let us together pray that we will have the chance and hidayah that Allah will call us to the land of Makkah. Insha Allah ameen.

Antara kelebihan menunaikan umrah adalah seperti berikut: 
 i)        Mendapat Ganjaran Pengampunan Dosa. 

• Orang yang menunaikan ibadat umrah dengan sempurna akan mendapat pengampunan dosa.
  
  Sabda Rasulullah saw yang bermaksud:

“Di antara satu umrah kepada satu umrah yang lain adalah penghapus dosa antara keduanya dan tidak ada balasan bagi haji yang mabrur (diterima) melainkan syurga”. (Riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim)

 ii)       Menjadi Tetamu Agong Kepada Allah swt.

• Orang yang mengerjakan umrah di Tanah Suci merupakan tetamu Agong kepada Allah swt dan mendapat kemuliaan daripada-Nya.
  
  Sabda Rasulullah saw yang bermaksud:

”Orang yang mengerjakan haji dan umrah adalah tetamu Agong kepada Allah swt, sekiranya mereka memohon doa kepada-Nya nescaya Allah swt perkenankan doa mereka, sekiranya mereka memohon keampunan-Nya nescaya Allah swt ampunkan mereka”.(Riwayat Al-Nasa’ie dan Ibnu Majah)
